FANUC Series 16i/18i/21i –TB/MB
αi servo/spindle system
1.3 Warning interface of αi servo motor
Outline The αi series servo amplifier provides PMC signal that indicates a warning state
before an alarm is issued.
This signal allows the operator to retract the tool to a safe location from the time a
warning state is indicated until a servo alarm is issued.

[Classification] Output signal
[Function] Before one of the following alarms is issued, this signal reports the
occurrence of a warning state via the following warning interface
independent of the conventional alarm interface.
[Output condition] The state of servo amplifier warning is shown the corresponding warning
signal in the following.

Timing chart of servo warning is as follows:
Deceleration stop, single block stop and
so on can be executed by PMC for stopping
the process without damage. The time
required depends on the kind of warning.
