As with the drilling operations in turning, C–axis drilling for side faces
allows center drilling, drilling, reaming, and tapping to be specified.
For detailed information about each type of machining, see Section 1.8.
When the cursor is moved to the end of a program, a new process is
automatically created and the machining type menu is displayed in the
soft key field.
To perform a given machining type, follow the corresponding procedure
below:
C–axis center drilling: Press the [C–CENTER] soft key, then the
[CROSS] key.
C–axis drilling: Press the [C–DRILL] soft key, then the [CROSS] key.
C–axis tapping: Press the [C–TAP] soft key, then the [CROSS] key.
Select DRILLING to perform C–axis reaming, boring, or end milling.
