Rotation Area Interference Check
NOTE
1 It is not possible to cause the alarm to be generated before
interference check groups interfere with each other. It is,
therefore, necessary to define areas with sufficient margins
according to the feedrate. The distance to move along the
axis after the alarm is generated can be determined with the
following formula:
D = F/(60 x 1000) x (interference check processing time)
D: Distance to move [mm]
F: maximum rapid traverse feedrate [mm/min]
2 After the alarm is generated, it is possible to move the
machine along the individual axes in the direction opposite to
the interference direction. Check for safety before moving the
machine in the direction opposite to the interference direction.
3 In the state in which no reference position is established, no
interference check is performed.
4 Using the rotation area interference check disable signal
ITCD<G0292#7>, the interference check function can be
disabled.
5 Using the inter-group interference check disable signals
ITCD1< G0292#4>, ITCD2< G0292#5>, ITCD3< G0292#6>,
ITCD4< G0407#2>, ITCD5< G0407#3>, and ITCD6<
G0407#4>, the interference checks on
interference check group A-interference check group B,
interference check group A-interference check group C,
interference check group A-interference check group D,
interference check group B-interference check group C,
interference check group B-interference check group D,
interference check group C-interference check group D
can each be disabled independently of the others.
6 For the values set in the interference check parameters (No.
14901, No. 14903, Nos.14910 to 14918, Nos. 14920 to 14938,
Nos. 14940 to 14958, Nos. 14960 to 14978, and Nos. 10900
to 10921) to take effect, the following operations are
necessary:
Turn the power OFF and back ON
Turn the PMC DI signal ITRC (G0292#3) ON and back
OFF
Make sure that the machine is stopping while the setting of
any parameter is being changed.
7 For the paths to which the groups belong, the settings of INM,
bit 0 of parameter No. 1001, (least command increment for the
linear axis) must be the same.
