17.9 Notice
1) Up to 2 axes are possible digital servo interface and analog servo interface in
total. for Power Mate i-D. Up to 8 axes are possible digital servo interface and
analog servo interface in total. for Power Mate i-H.
2) The group of the analog servo interface unit is one basic unit (2 axes) or one
basic unit + one extension unit (4 axes). So when using up to 5 axes, two
groups of the analog servo interface unit are necessary.
3) When 2 groups of analog servo interface unit are used, separate detector pulse
coder unit and FSSB I/O module is not available.
4) When using the analog servo interface unit, two groups of FSSB I/O module
are not available.
5) The group of the analog servo interface unit is numbered group 1,group 2; from
near side of Power Mate i. When there is only one group, it is called group1.
6) The analog servo interface unit does not apply “CE Marking”.
7) High-speed axes servo card and digital servo function (A02B-0259-H591#90A0)
are necessary. The axes number of the servo card is the sum of the digital servo
axes number and the analog servo axes number.
8) When system alarm is occurred on Power Mate i or communication alarm
between Power Mate i and the analog servo interface unit is occurred, the
signals *ENBL and *PRDY will be OFF. When the power of Power Mate i or the
analog servo interface unit is turn off, the signals *ENBL and *PRDY will be
OFF.
9) The connection between the basic module and extension module is same as the
separate detector interface unit. Refer to the section 8.8.7 of Power Mate i
connection manual (hardware). (The flat cable of the analog servo interface
module is different from the one of the separate detector interface unit.)
10) The way to install this unit is similar to the one of the separate detector
interface unit. Refer to the section 8.8.10 of Power Mate i connection manual
(hardware).
11) Choose FSSB cables (optical fiber cable) from order list.
12) The sequence of power on/off is similar to the separate detector interface
unit. Refer to the section 5.4 and 5.5 of the Power Mate i connection manual
(hardware). But if
