2.2.7 Reference point
If a reference point of an axis is established in one command mode, that of
the same axis in the other mode will be established automatically.
The established reference points are physically the same on the machine for
both command modes.
Example) When a reference point is established in turning mode.
Example) When a reference point is established in milling mode.
Note
• Automatic coordinate system setting at the manual reference point
return is to be done for both command modes at the same time and
each coordinate system to be established separately.
• The established reference points are never to be lost on changing
command modes.
• If the reference point is lost in one command mode caused by a servo
alarm or so, the other mode’s is to be lost, too.
