How to supply the control power from UPS
to αi amplifiers with Power Failure Backup Module
This manual describes the method to retain the control power of CNC and amplifiers by UPS for
a few minutes after the machine protection function at power failure is completed in the system
with Power Failure Backup Module.
1. In case of using AC200V input type Power Failure Backup Module (A06B-6077-H002)
The control power of PSM must be always supplied through Power Failure Backup Module in
case of using AC200V input type Power Failure Backup Module. The control power of SPMs and
SVMs can be supplied from DC24V UPS.

1.2 Timing of the control power ON
Turn on AC200V for PSM (CX1A) and the DC24V UPS for SPMs, SVMs, and CNC at the
same time, and the power ON timing meets the following timing chart generally. If the power
ON timing cannot meet the following timing chart, adjust the timing by the delay timer.
(2) should not delay more than 200msec from (3).
