NOTE
1. Please ask separately about whether CNC Software and CNC are supporting PDM.
2. DSA usually use 90A2 series servo software with its servo card. But when you use
PDM with DSA, you have to change it to 90B2 series with its servo card. Please take
care of it at order.
3. Since communication between CNC and PDM is performed in the HRV3 mode when
using PDM, it is necessary to use the servo card which can be used in the HRV3
mode, and to set up the HRV3 mode. In addition, since it is communicating also
between PDM and servo amplifier, the actual characteristic of the axis that is using
PDM becomes an equivalent for HRV2.
4. The peak current of all servo amplifiers connected to PDM must be the same.
5. The available slave number of PDM is only four.
6. In 2 winding motor drive, please use the method of torque tandem control, without
using PDM as usual.
7. In the case of 4 winding motor drive, one PDM with 4 slave number setting is used
per motor.
8. In the case of 8 winding motor drive, two PDM with 4 slave number setting are used
per motor, and torque tandem control is applied to two sets of PDM.
