Change of design on the 15.0” LCD units
Abstract
In 15.0” LCD units for PANEL i , FS30i/300is series, FANUC will apply the new 15.0” LCD units
to systems provided from December 2004. It is caused the production stoppage by LCD
manufacturer.
The new 15.0” LCD units have fully compatibility with current display units.
The color tone changes though it is just a little.
There is no need to change the order number of these systems in regard to this change.
The LCD module used in the new 15.0” LCD units has compatibility with current LCD module about
the dimension. But the cable to connect PCB and the LCD module is different. So, the new
maintenance units that contained a new LCD module and a new cable for the maintenance exchange
were developed. For maintenance use, you must order the new 15.0” maintenance unit instead
of a single LCD module.
