1. Mechanism of operation
BOOT SYSTEM is stored in special FROM on CPU card in
i
Series. When the software of BOOT
SYSTEM
is exchanged,
it
is exchanged using self-loading function. However,
if
nothing
is
stored in
BOOT FROM, BOOT FROM is stored using a special memory card.
Insert the special memory card to memory card slot, and connect the pin on the main circuit of
i
Series. As a result, the area of BOOT FROM is mapped to specific area of the memory card. Then
BOOT SYSTEM is executed on the memory card. The writing processing of BOOT FROM is
executed.
2.
How to make special memory card
Please store the ROM file of BOOT SYSTEM service on the offset address of the memory card
(ODFFGOh).
