1. General
1.1. Overview
This manual describes how to use Torque Tandem Control for spindle.
1.2. Remarks
・ Using this function requires αi series spindle amplifier module TYPE B.
・ Using this function requires CNC software option (Spindle Tandem Control).
・ Spindle amplifier modules (SPMs) and spindle motors must be the same model.
・ Following functions cannot be used with this function simultaneously
(1) Spindle synchronization control
(2) Speed range switching control
(3) Spindle switching control
(4) Position coder signal output
(5) Spindle EGB
(6) Spindle learning control
(7) Twin drive function
(8) Synchronous motor drive
・ Correspondence between spindle number and master (or slave) SPM is free.
* In following explanation, spindle configuration bellow is supposed for the sake of convenience.
1st spindle : Master SPM
2nd spindle : Slave SPM
