1 General
The temporary absolute coordinate setting function has required the linear scale
I/F with absolute address reference mark. In this improvement, an incremental
linear scale is available.
2 Specification
The temporary absolute coordinate setting function is used in the full closed
system with an inner absolute position pulse coder and an incremental linear scale.
The CNC communicates with the inner absolute position pulse coder for decision
of the absolute position when the system is powered on. After that, the position is
controlled with incremental data from the linear scale. The position just after
power on sequence is rough, and the manual reference position return is required
to get the accurate position after power on.
The position on the coordinate system establishment by the inner absolute position
pulse coder is rough, but the following function is available.
Stroke limit check
Position switch
The following function is unavailable.
Automatic operation
Pitch error compensation
They are available when the manual reference position return is performed on the
linear scale.
3 Note
1) Stroke limit check is available in spite of setting parameter LZR (No.1300#6).
2) Even if the amount of grid shift (parameter No.1850) is changed, the coordinate
system which is established by the inner absolute position pulse coder is not lost
on the axis which this function is applied to.
(The parameter APZ (No.1815#4) remains to be 1.)
