(3) Normal operation
This mode is used to machine different workpieces on different tables. As in usual CNC
operation, movements along the master and slave axes are specified by individual axis
addresses, Y and V. The movements along the master and slave axes can be specified in
an identical block.
(i) Command Yyyyy specified for the master axis determines movement along the Y-axis
as usual.
(ii) Command Vvvvv specified for the slave axis determines movement along the V-axis
as usual.
(iii)Command Yyyyy Vvvvv determines simultaneous movement along the Y- and V-axes
as usual.
When the normal operation is executed in automatic or manual operation, the resulting
operation becomes the same as the normal CNC operation.
2.2 Setting
Set the number of the master axis to the parameter No.8311 of the slave axis.
(example) If the master axis is Y-axis(2nd axis) and the slave axis is V-axis(4th axis):
parameter No.8311x 0
No.8311y 0
No.8311z 0
No.8311v 2
2.3 Command
The operation modes of twin table control are selected by the combinations of simple synchronous
axis select signals and twin table control axis select signals. And they are specified by M codes
setting as the non-buffering M codes in a machining program.
2.4 Signal
When starting and canceling the twin table control (when M code is commanded etc.), change the
twin table control signal "0" "1" (starting) or "1" "0" (canceling). Select the synchronous
operation , the independent operation and by the combination of these signals
2.5 Difference from the simple synchronous control
The specifications of the synchronous operation are the same as the ones of the simple synchronous
control completely except that the twin table control axis select signal must be on.
