4. PMC signals
4.1 Name
Stop signal at execution end position.
NPDSG488#6
[Classification] : Input signal
[Function] : This signal can stop the gap control axis at execution end position.
[Operation] :This signal should be set 1 before executing this function in case of stopping
Z-axis at execution end position. This signal should be set 0 in case of not
stopping Z-axis at execution end position. This signal must be set to "1" at the
same time when signal PCTR is set to "1". The status of this signal is
prohibited to change during executing this function.
Automatic gap control axis retraction and approaching function start signal
PCTRG488#7
[Classification] : Input signal
[Function] : CNC executes automatic gap control axis retraction and approaching
function with this signal.
[Operation] : Setting this signal to "1" makes executing this function.
Setting this signal to "0" makes executing G00 normally.
Set this signal before executing G00 block in gap control mode.
Assist gas changing signal
PAGSG490#5
[Classification] : Input signal
[Function] : Assist gas output condition is changed from for cutting to for piercing with
this signal during executing this function.
[Operation] : Setting this signal to "1" makes changing assist gas condition from for cutting
to for piercing commanded by E code when Z-axis start to be retracted.
The assist gas is continued to output with the changed condition after
completing this function.
Under execution signal of automatic gap control axis retraction and approaching function
PPEXF488#6
[Classification] : Output signal
[Function] : This signal shows under executing this function.
[Operation] : This signal is set to be "1" when this function starts.
This signal is changed to be "0" when the next block starts.
