EDIT.
The specification of reference point establishment by detecting some reference marks is
compatible with the former one. The restriction, parameter setting method, and so on are
also the same as the former specifications. Please refer to "FANUC Series 16/18/16

2.1.2.1 Tool path
In this function, the tool path in executing the G00 command is as follows.
(1) When the reference point establishment operation is not executed for any target axis
When the reference points of every target axis have already been established, the
operation is not executed.
For instance, when the reference point has already been established to X, Y, and Z axis
and “G00 Xxx Yyy Zzz ;" is commanded, it is executed as a usual G00 operation. The tool
path follows parameter 1401#1(LRP).
(2) When the reference point establishment operation is executed for every target axis
When the reference point is not established to X, Y, and Z axis, and “G00 Xxx Yyy Zzz ;" is
commanded, the behavior is shown in the figure below.
The reference point of each axis is established in "Phase1" in figure. At this time, the axes
moves by the non linear interpolation type regardless of parameter 1401#1(LRP).
In "Phase2", the axes are moved to the end point of the block. The tool path depends on
parameter 1401#1(LRP).
"Phase2" is not begun until "Phase1" of all axes is completed.
