FANUC Series 30i/31i-MODEL A
Specifications for Speed Command Extension
in Least Input Increments D and E
Overview
When the least input increment D (IS-D) or E (IS-E) is selected, up to now
the limitations indicated in Table 1 and Table 2 are imposed on parameters
for speed and acceleration/deceleration.
This means that when the unit of data is mm, and the increment system is
IS-E, for example, no rapid traverse rate and cutting feedrate beyond 1000
mm/min have been allowed because of the limitations on valid data ranges.

This function extends the parameter input limitations as indicated in Table 3
and Table 4 with the axis whose bit 7 (IESP) of parameter No. 1013 is set to
1 and the increment system IS-D or IS-E is specified.
With this function, values greater than the formerly specifiable values can be
set in parameters for speed and acceleration/deceleration.
When this function is used, the maximum specifiable rapid traverse rate and
cutting feedrate are 100000 mm/min, for example, when the unit of data is
mm, and IS-D or IS-E is employed.
