Automatic data backup function
- Automatic data backup at every power-on
When the power is turned on, the CNC data can be automatically backed up.
The following settings are necessary for this function.
- Bit 0 (ABP) of parameter No.10340 set to 1.
- Parameter No.10342 set to 1 or more.
- When NC program and NC program folder is backed up, Bit 2 (AAP)
parameter No.10340 set to 1.
- Automatic data backup at power-on every specified days
When the power is turned on after specified days progress from previous
backup, the CNC data can be automatically backed up.
The following settings are necessary for this function.
- Setting of Automatic data backup at every power-on
- Parameter No.10341 set to days of backup interval.
- Manual Backup during emergency stop
When the backup operation is executed in emergency stop, the CNC data can
be backed up. The backup can be executed at arbitrary timing such as
weekend and machining preparation completion.
The following settings are necessary for this function.
- Parameter No.10342 set to 1 or more.
- When NC program and NC program folder is backed up, Bit 2 (AAP)
parameter No.10340 set to 1.
[Operation procedure]
1. Set the emergency stop.
2. Bit 7 (EEB) of parameter No.10340 set to 1. The backup starts by this
operation. When the backup starts, this parameter becomes 0.
3. The execution can be confirmed by diagnose No.1016 on the diagnosis
screen.
Note
When the data is updated while backup, the CNC data
might be not the same as the backup data at start of
backup. When the CNC data is updated while the
emergency stop, please confirm executing automatic
data backup signal ATBK and execute appropriate
processing for not changing the CNC data.
- Execution status of backup
In the backup at power-on, the exectution status is display by ten ‘.’. When
the backup is completed, ‘AUTO BACKUP : ……….END’ is displayed.
And, the following states can be confirmed on the diagnosis screen.
- Bit 0 (AEX) of parameter No.1016 : Backup is Executing
- Bit 6 (ACM) of parameter No.1016 : Backup was completed.
- Bit 7 (ANG) of parameter No.1016 : The error occurred.
- Bit1-3 (DT1-3) of of parameter No.1016 : Updated backup data
