Automatic data backup function
- Keeps initial backup data
Initial backup data can be kept in FROM. For example, the state the
shipment and after the Machine adjustment is stored as initial backup data.
The number of backup data of parameter No.10342 should set two or more.
And the first backup data is the initial backup data.
The following settings are necessary for this function.
- Bit 1 (ABI) of parameter No.10340 set to 1.
- Parameter No.10342 set to 2 or more.
- When NC program and NC program folder is backed up, Bit 2 (AAP)
parameter No.10340 set to 1.
[Operation procedure]
1. Bit 6 (EIB) of parameter No.10340 set to 1.
2. Turn off the power then turn on the power. The first backup data is
automatically updated at power-on, and Bit 6 (EIB) of parameter
No.10340 becomes 0.
The 2nd backup data and the 3rd backup data is updated by the methods of
backup.
- Parity check
The parity check is executed before the backup. If the error is detected, the
backup is not executed.
- Restore of backup data
The backup data of FROM is restored by the following operations on BOOT
SYSTEM.
1. When "7. SRAM DATA UTILITY” of the TOP menu is selected on
BOOT SYSTEM, the following menu is displayed. Please select 3.
2. When data is selected from the following menus, the restore is executed.
3. Please select end menu of BOOT SYSTEM.
