QuickTurn™

1 Product description
The Quick Turn is a CNC based control package for simple turning machines, including hardware and
software. Product is designed for manual machine concepts and replaces mechanical parts by electronical
ones. In this way conventional machining by means of hand wheels, as well as semi automatic machining by
assisting operator and by relieving him from superfluous actions can be done. The CNC control guarantees a
high geometrical quality of finished part.
Quick Turn Hardware
The package includes touch screen HMI, CNC, servo and spindle amplifiers, axis drives and serial spindle. If
desired a 3
rd
party frequency converter driven spindle unit can be used as well as a conventional
asynchronous motor and manual gearbox unit. Frequency converter can be connected to analogue spindle
interface (optional) of 0i Mate TB.
Quick Turn Software
GE Fanuc provides following software included in Quick Turn package:
- Custom Macro B programs for controlling axis movements in semi automatic mode
- Macro Executor application for internal data handling
- PMC ladder programs for controlling machine tool logic and machine tool peripheral equipment
- Software for HMI screen display
- Standard CNC parameter set
