Tool life count override signal *TLV0∼
∼∼
∼*TLV9 <G049#0∼
∼∼
∼G050#1>
[Classification] Input signal
[Function] Overrides the life count (time) if parameter LFV (No. 6801#2) is
specified. Each of the ten binary code signals has a unique override
value that becomes valid when the signal is set to "0". The life count is
overriden by the sum of the valid override value. The override value
can be specified in steps of 0.1, within the range of 0 to 102.3.
Override value =
*TLV0
× 0.1
*TLV1
× 0.2
*TLV2
× 0.4
*TLV3
× 0.8
*TLV4
× 1.6
*TLV5
× 3.2
*TLV6
× 6.4
*TLV7
× 12.8
*TLV8
× 25.6
*TLV9
× 51.2
(Example) When *TLV7, *TLV6, and *TLV3 are set to "0", the override value is
calcurated as follows:
12.8+6.4+0.8=20.0
The life count is multiplied by 20.0.
[Operation] The actual cutting time is counted and multiplied by the override value
obtained by the signals. The calculated time is used as the basis for tool
life management.
Tool searching signal TLMSRH <F315#1>
[Classification] Output signal
[Function] Reports that CNC is searching the next tool.
[Output condition] The signal is set to "1" when:
•
••
• CNC is searching the tool with the tool type number specified by T
code.
•
••
• CNC is searching the tool with the same tool type number when the
tool life is managed and the life of the tool under use is over.
•
••
• CNC is searching the tool with the same tool type number when the
tool skip signal TLSKP<G048#5> is output.
The signal is set to "0" when:
•
••
• The search for next tool is finished.
NOTE
When the tool searching signal TLMSRH is set to “1”,
please take care not to rewrite the tool management
data by the PMC window and FOCAS1.
