Handy Operator’s Panel has the two kinds of modes ”MDI mode” and
”Machine Operation mode” for controls it.
These modes can be exchanged each other by pressing the key of
”M–OPE/MDI” on Handy Operator’s Panel.
This mode is used the Handy Operator’s Panel as a display unit. This
operation method is same as CRT/MDI, but some functions are not
available. (Refer to. 2.1.3 RESTRICTED ITEMS). The key have two
characters on there keytop upper and under, the under character on the
keytop is effective.
