7.5.3 AMR offset (9D53/C, 9D70/B or later)
AMR offset is used to decrease the dispersion of the pole-detection accuracy. After the pole-detection is
finished, SPM replaces the pole-position corresponds to the reference signal position with No.4084 (AMR offset)
when the reference signal position is first detected. It is recommended to use this function by reference to this
chapter.
This function is equivalent to the function “AMR offset” of servo software.
(1) Behavior of this function
This function is enabled when the parameter No.4008#6(NEGREF) is “0”
The line (1) “ “ is the motion of pole-position after 1

pole detection is completed.
The line (2) “ “ is the motion of pole-position after 2
nd
pole detection is completed.
The line (3) “ “ is the motion of pole-position after AMR compensation is executed.
1) 1
st
, the pole detection is completed after power on.
2) Pole-position is counted according to rotating sensor of motor. In this case, the standard of pole-position is
the position which pole detection is detected.
3) If SPM detects the reference signal of sensor, SPM calculates the pole-position corresponds to the reference
signal position. This calculated pole-position may be the AMR offset nominee and can be confirmed

using SP check board or SERVO GUIDE. This measure is only executed at one time when the reference
signal is first detected after completing of pole position.
