
1.1 Nano Smoothing
Outline
When the sculptured surfaces approximated by minute line segment is processed,
Nano Smoothing function judge the figure from command segment. And, it is a
function to generate and to interpolate a smooth curve.
Nano Smoothing function presumes the curve profile from the program command
figure approximated by a minute segment within the range of the specified tolerance.
Moreover, the Nano Smoothing function can generate the more stable curve profile
compared with a past Smooth Interpolation. When the program of inflection points
part or the program with a variable interval of the command point is executed, the
difference is understood.
The approximation error for a minute line becomes small by interpolating this curve.
In addition, the working surface is smoothly made by applying the Nano interpolation.
The option of AI /AI Nano High Precious Contouring Control is necessary for this
function.

Note: 1.It is necessary to instruct the block of G5.1 by a separate block.
(Do not instruct the other G codes in the same block.)
2. The command position of the axis included in the block of Nano Smoothing
mode on is adjusted to 0. The command axis in this block only becomes
the object axis of the Nano Smoothing. It does not move even in case of
an absolute command.
Nano Smoothing mode
CNC enters Nano Smoothing mode by the command of G5.1 Q3.
Moreover, the command of the axis to which Nano Smoothing is done is necessary
together. The axes which does Nano Smoothing can instruct only the command of
the basic three axes (X,Y,Z) or the parallel axis.
In the command done in the Nano Smoothing mode, Nano Smoothing is done in the
command block where it meets valid condition described later.
