
6. Caution in program restart
(1) When parameter INT (No.13117#4) is set to 1, interference check for
cutter compensation C (M series) or tool nose radius compensation
(T series) can be suppressed during program restart.
(2) When parameter SQB (No.13117#6) is set to 1, program restart by
specifying a block number can be unavailable. And if “B” and block
number is input for specifying a target block, warning “FORMAT
ERROR” is displayed.
Set SQB to 1, in case that the conditional branch (IF statement) of
custom macro program execution is different between program
restart and conventional execution.
(3) When parameter SQP (No.13117#7) is set to 1, program restart
P-type can be unavailable. Softkey [P TYPE] is not displayed.
By P-type, wherever a tool is, operation can be restarted in the
program in which all blocks are programmed by increment
commands. But such program is not used on recent machines.
Therefore, if P-type is not used, set SQP to 1.
(4) In case that a target block of program restart is Macro call block,
conversion of arguments of Macro call block to local variables is
completed when the target block is found. And when CNC mode is
changed from MEM to MDI and when MDI operation is performed,
the same local variables are used in MDI operation as local
variables of Macro call (target block in MEM operation).
(5) In using of Canned Turning Cycle for Milling Machine (FS16i/18i
-MB), use version “05a” or later.
And turning cycle command block can not be specified as a target
block of program restart, because address N is regardless as an
argument of macro call.
(6) The following system variables for axes position read actual axes
positions even during searching the target block in program restart.
- #5021-#5028 :Current position ( Machine coordinate system )
- #5041-#5048 :Current position ( Workpiece coordinate system )
- #5061-#5068 :Skip signal position ( Workpiece coordinate system )
