8) Change to the MDI mode, and then check the MDI program. If need,
modify the MDI program, and then press the cycle start button.
(When program restart signal SRN <G006#0> becomes “0” and
program restart MDI program output completed signal SQMPR
<F316#6> becomes “1”, PMC ladder can select the MDI mode and
execute the cycle start.)
When the MDI program execution starts, program restart MDI
program output completed signal SQMPR <F316#6> becomes “0”.
9) After MDI program execution, restore the MEM mode.
When MDI program execution is completed, program restart MDI
program execution completed signal SQMPRE <F316#7> becomes
“1”. (When signal SQMPRE becomes “1”, PMC ladder can restore
MEM mode.)
When MEM mode is selected, signal SQMPRE becomes “0”.
10) Check that the distance indicated under DISTANCE TO GO is
correct. Also check whether there is the possibility that the tool
might hit a workpiece or other objects when it moves to the
machining restart position. If such a possibility exists, move the tool
manually to a position from which the tool can move to the
machining restart position without encountering any obstacles.
11) Press the cycle start button. The tool moves to the machining restart
position at the dry run feedrate sequentially along axes in the order
specified in the procedure 6. Machining is then restarted.
And program restart under way signal SRNMV<F002#4> becomes
“0”.
Caution
- Warning "SETTING ERROR" is displayed in procedure 4, 7
and 11, if setting of the axis movement sequence is wrong.
- When the warning occurred in procedure 4 or 7, the next
procedure can be executed.
- When the warning occurred in procedure 11, the cycle start
cannot be executed.
In this case, correct movement sequence to program restart
position and do procedure 11 again.
