5.8 About improvement of direction change movement in auxiliary function output block
5.8.1 General
In manual handle retrace, when movement command and auxiliary function (M,S,T,B-code)
is commanded with the same block, the direction change movement becomes valid. This
function is software option.
5.8.2 Specifications
When all of following condition and sequence is filled, the direction change movement
becomes valid in auxiliary function output block.
1) When auxiliary function output block direction change parameter ADC(No6401#0) is set
to "1", it become valid.
2) When movement command and auxiliary function (M,S,T,B-code) is commanded with the
same block, it becomes valid.
3) When the above condition of clause 1) and clause 2) is enabled and manual handle is
executed direction change, the direction change enable signal of auxiliary function
output block ADCO<F091#5> is set to "1" by CNC system.
4) In PMC side, when auxiliary function output block direction change enable signal
ADCO<F091#5>is set to "1", please execute corresponding operation by ladder and set to
"1" completion signal FIN<G004#3>. With this, axis movement of direction change
(backward movement or re-forward movement) is enabled in CNC system.
5) When completion signal FIN<G004#3> is set to "1", ADCO<F091#5> is set to "1" in CNC
system and axis movement (backward movement or re-forward movement) is started to
change direction. And In grouped M codes by the parameter setting, S code and T code, it
is output the code in front of 1 block. In M code which is not grouped by the parameter
and B code, when backward movement is executed, it is output the same code at the time
of forward movement.
If a time chart shows the above, it is shown in the following figure. It is the example of M
code.
After direction change, it is the example of auxiliary function execution with waiting of
movement command end (distribution end signal DEN).
After direction change, it is possible to execute auxiliary function without waiting of
movement command end.
