
PARAMETERS
Be sure to use the parameters set by the machine builder.
If you change the setting of a parameter, the machining program may not work correctly.
If the machining program does not work correctly, the tool may bump against the work-piece, and
the machine may be forced to perform unnatural machining, possibly causing damage to the tool
and/or machine, and even injuries.
A.1 Bit Type Parameters for Common Use
TMM : This bit must be set to 1 for control of Turning cycle.
296 : In Turning cycle, in order to switch Diameter/Radius mode of the coordinate value
and program command of X-axis, PMC signal G296.0 and F296.0 prepared in the
“Diameter and Radius Setting Switching function” of CNC is used. And macro
executor for controlling Turning cycle uses this PMC signal F296.0 to confirm
Diameter/Radius mode.
Therefore, this bit parameter must be set to 1. When this
bit parameter is set to 1, it is not necessary to specify the argument A in G-code
blocks of Turning cycle.
All bits except the above-mentioned bits must be set to 0.
SEM 1 : In a Bar machining process, semi-finishing process can be entered separately.
And then, parameter 9772#5(RFN) becomes disable.
0 : The above function is not available.
All bits except the above-mentioned bits must be set to 0.
G1W 1 : In grooving, uni-directional cutting is done.
0 : This function is disable.

SGT 1 : Cutting edge compensation is enabled.
0 : Cutting edge compensation is disabled.
All bits except the above-mentioned bit must be set to 0.
RFN 1 : Semi finish machining is not carried out.
0 : Semi finish machining is carried out always.
All bits except the above-mentioned bit must be set to 0.
