
Tool motion of cutting the end face is as follows.
(1) Tool moves to the position “Z1=Zs-Q” along Z-axis at G00
(2) Tool moves to the position X0 along X-axis at G01
(3) Tool escapes to the position “Z1+release amountP9798” along
Z-axis at G00
(4) Tool returns the position X1 at G00
(5) Tool moves to the position “Z2=Z1-Q” along Z-axis at G00
(6) Tool repeats the cutting motion until the last cutting position
“Z0+W”
* E Release amount Travel amount in X-axis (Outer/Inner) or Z-axis (Face) for
retracting after cutting. (When “E___” is not specified, the parameter
9797/9798 is used as the Release amount)
H Release type Type of tool positioning after cutting
Standard=0: The tool is retracted after cutting along the inputted
figure
Rapid =1:The tool is retracted immediately after cutting
(When “H_” is not specified, “Release type” is equal to H0)
Q Edge angle
Angle of the cutting edge. (When “Q__” is not specified,
the parameter 9809 is used as Edge angle) In case of that it was
specified to the value less than 90 degrees and the parameter
9767<SGT> is set to 1, cutting edge compensation will be done as
the following figure Fig.1.1.8.
