6.2 SETTING AND DISPLAYING PARAMETERS
6.2.1 Displaying Parameters
To display parameters and change their settings, follow the procedure
below:
(1) Press the <SYSTEM> function key.
(2) Press the [PARAM] soft key at the bottom of the screen to
display the parameter screen.
(3) The parameter screen contains several pages. You can display
desired data with either of the following ways:
(a) Switch pages using the page switching keys
(b) Search desired data using a data number
Key in the parameter number you want to display.
Press the [NO.SRH] soft key at the bottom of the screen.
6.2.2 Setting Parameters
(1) Enter MDI mode.
(2) Press the <OFFSET/SETTING> function key.
(3) Press the [SETING] soft key at the bottom of the screen to
display the setting screen.
(4) Position the cursor on "PARAMETER WRITE" using the cursor
movement keys as appropriate.
(5) Press the [(OPRT)] and [(ON:1)] selection key at the bottom of
the screen in this order, and parameters are write-enabled. At this
time, "Alarm No.100 PARAMETER WRITE ENABLE" is
displayed on the CNC.
(6) Switch to the parameter screen and display the parameter whose
setting you want to change.
(7) Enter the setting using numeric keys and press the [INPUT] soft
key at the bottom of the screen.
(8) Upon completion of entry, return to the setting screen, position
the cursor on "PARAMETER WRITE", press the [(OPRT)] and
[(OFF:0)] soft keys at the button of the screen in this order to
return the setting of "PARAMETER WRITE" to "DISABLE".
(9) Press the <RESET> key to cancel the alarm.
