In addition, the following debugging of ladder that cooperates with the
CNC simulator is possible in the coordinated CNC/PMC simulator
mode(3.). 30i/31i/32i-A works in this mode.
• Operation of CNC screens, diagnosis and maintenance screens of
built-in PMC
• Debugging of ladder that uses window functional instruction and
signal of CNC
1.1.2 Difference of operation on PMC and the PMC simulator
There are some differences where the PMC simulator differs from
actual PMC built-in CNC in its operation because it executes the ladder
program in the pseudo PMC simulator on the PC. The different points
of PMC and the PMC simulator are as follows.
PMC Simulator for 30i/31i/32i-A
• About the execution of the ladder
The execution cycle time and the timing of the ladder are
different from actual PMC.
Some error margins of counting up the timers are caused by
the difference of running state of actual PMC and the PMC
simulator.
The override function of the signal cannot be used.
In multi-path PMC function, the ladder execution order is
different from actual PMC.
In multi-path PMC function, the setting of the percentage of
ladder execution time is invalid.
• The following functions are not supported.

Common PMC Memory mode for multi-path PMC
Expansion of PMC1 Memory size (Data Table is 20,000 bytes
and Internal Relay is 16,000 bytes)
Expansion of PMC2 Memory size (Data Table is 10,000 bytes
and Internal Relay is 8,000 bytes)
Convert the source files to ones of multi-path PMC with FANUC
LADDER-III and debug the converted ladder when simulating the
ladder for dual check safety and PMC/L.
• In the PMC simulator mode, the following functions are not
supported.
