Description
- Combination with tool center point control for 5-axis machining
It is possible to use the 3-dimensional coordinate system conversion/tilted
working plane command and tool center point control for 5-axis machining at the
same time.
To do this, first specify the 3-dimensional coordinate system conversion/tilted
working plane command and then specify tool center point control for 5-axis
machining. To cancel them, first cancel the tool center point control for 5-axis
machining. If the order is wrong, alarm PS5421 occurs.
Generally, a rotary axis command cannot be executed during execution of the
tilted working plane command. When the tilted working plane command and
tool center point control for 5-axis machining are used at the same time, however,
a rotary axis command can be executed. In this case, G53.1 cannot be specified.
If it is specified, alarm PS5421 occurs.
・Tool direction conversion
To use the 3-dimensional coordinate system conversion/tilted working plane
command and tool center point control for 5-axis machining at the same time,
convert the tool direction by setting bit 0 (RCM) of parameter No. 11200 to 1.
That is, conversion is performed relative to the rotary axis position so that
machining is performed in the tool direction for the workpiece considered in the
program coordinate system (feature coordinate system).
In the start block for tool center point control, the rotary axis does not move
mechanically and the absolute coordinates are changed by the amount
corresponding to the conversion. The axis moves to the specified position in the
program coordinate system (feature coordinate system) by the next absolute
command. Therefore, an absolute command is necessary after the start block for
the tool center point control.
