1 Machine tool builder shall furnish punch panel, relay cable
and 24VDC.
The punch panel may be purchased from FANUC. (See
Section 7.2.2.)

3 Open all terminals other than illustrated.
4 Set a parameter to be able to use reader puncher interface
when connecting Handy File.
The baud rate is 4800 baud.
5 24 VDC power for the FANUC Handy File must be supplied
from an external 24 VDC power supply or the CP2 power
output of the Digital Servo Adapter (see Section 4.2).
6 The DPL/MDI is required to operate the Handy File.
