Setting the DNS server / DHCP server
Operating system
It is recommended to use Windows 2000 Server as the operating
system.
Setting the DHCP server
In the database of the DHCP server, set the following items:
• Range of IP addresses to be managed by the DHCP server
• Subnet mask to be managed by the DHCP server
• IP address for DNS server
• Domain
The DHCP server enables the function for updating the database of
the DNS server.

UP DHCP SERVER OF Windows 2000 Server" in Appendix C,
"EXAMPLE OF SETTING UP DNS/DHCP."
Setting the DNS server
The DNS server allows the DHCP server to update the database of the
DNS server.

"EXAMPLE OF SETTING UP DNS/DHCP."
Setting the FTP server
For FTP server setting, see Appendix D, "EXAMPLE OF FTP

Setting the CNC
Parameter
To enable the DNS function, set bit 5 of NC parameter No. 904 to 1.
To enable the DHCP function, set bit 6 of NC parameter No. 904 to 1.
