6. The compare to standard model
Servo motor βiS series (for FS 0i ) has same specification as “common specification
( ambient temperature, allowable axis load, shaft runout precition ) ” , “outline drawing”,
“connection of power line”, “built-in brake” and so on. Please refer to “FANUC AC SERVO
MOTOR β
iS series DESCRIPTION B-65302JA”.

7. How to use servo motor
Basically, it is same as servo motor βiS series of standard. Please refer to FANUC AC
SERVO MOTORβ
iS series DESCRIPTION B-65302JA - Section 2. How to use servo motor.
The following is a different point from standard.
- It is important of setting the parameter for solt sermal alarm. Please set the parameter as this
DESCRIPTION.
- It must not attach a rear fan unit to this motor because of a possibility of missing the over
heat protection.
- Don’t it use on the condition of the strong wind flow to pulsecoder.
- When the soft thermal alarm has occured, please re-start CNC after several minutes.
WARNING
If the above mentioned are fault, a motor may break.
