[The method to investigate the discontinuous point of scale data]
Before using this function, it is necessary to know a discontinuous point in
following process. But before executing following operation, parameter
No.1818#2 should be set to ‘0’. (Reference position return by JOG feed or
rapid traverse is unavailable.)
1. Perform a reference position return of rotary axis with No.1817#3=0.
2. Record machine coordinate value after moving axis for the one side of
movable range.
3. Turn the CNC off and on. And move the axis for the other side of moving
range on JOG/HND/MDI/MEM mode. After that, return to the position
where power is turned on. And Feed axis and direction selection signal is
selected on REF mode, the reference position will be established.
4. Confirm the machine coordinate value. In the case that machine
coordinate value misses by 360-degree, it is necessary to know the
discontinuous point because there is a discontinuous point in movable
range. Go to term 7.
In the case that machine coordinate value does not miss and CNC starts
normally, record machine coordinate value after moving axis for the
other side.
5. Repeat 3.
6. In the case that machine coordinate value misses by 360-degree, it is
necessary to know the discontinuous point because there is a
discontinuous point in movable range. Go to term 7.
In the case that machine coordinate value does not miss and CNC starts
normally, it is unnecessary to use this function because there is not a
discontinuous point. It is possible to use with No.1817#3=0.
7. Record machine coordinate value after moving axis by an constant
interval (ex. 10-degree) from present position for a inside of movable
range.
8. Turn the CNC off and on. And move the axis for the side that is farther
from current position on JOG/HND/MDI/MEM mode. After that, return
to the position where power is turned on. And Feed axis and direction
selection signal is selected on REF mode, the reference position will be
established.
9. From now on repeat term 7,8. The CNC starts on wrong position until
exceeding a discontinuous point. After exceeding the discontinuous
point, CNC starts on correct position.
