2.4 LINEAR MOTOR ASSEMBLY DIMENSIONS
There are two types of magnet plates for the FANUC LINEAR
MOTOR L
iS series: standard type and protective cover mounted type.
The entire width is the same for both types, but the magnet plate of the
protective cover mounted type is thinner by 0.3 mm, the thickness of
the protective cover.
Keep the fact in mind to install the machine.
The air gap refers to the distance between the coil slider and the
magnet plate (or the distance between the coil slider and the protective
cover for the protective cover mounted type).
