2.3.4 Restoring FROM/SRAM data (Display Unit)
For restoring the application files, following procedure shall be performed:
• Prepare a memory card with the application files, which have to be loaded onto FROM of
the CNC. Note: The name of the files can be arbitrary. The CNC detects the file type
automatically and displays the files according the naming convention after they have been
loaded.
• Apply the memory card to the PCMCIA Slot of the Display Unit.
• Start the Boot Menu by pressing two most-right soft keys during power up of the CNC.
• From the Main Menu select [SYSTEM DATA LOADING]
All the FROM files stored in the memory card are displayed.
• With the soft keys [UP] and [DOWN] search and select the application file, which shall be
loaded onto FROM of the CNC.
Note: One page of the contents of the memory card can display up to 8 files. Press the
most-right soft key on the Display Unit to display the next page.
• Press the [SELECT] key
• Confirm the selection by pressing [YES]
• The selected file is stored onto FROM. The message LOADING COMPLETE shows proper
operation.
• Press [SELECT] key to make a new choice.
• When all application files are loaded, select the END item on the last page.
• When END is marked press soft key [SELECT] to come back to the main menu.
• In the Main Menu select another operation with [UP] and [DOWN] soft keys and press
[SELECT]
• Move to END item and press [SELECT] and [YES] for terminating Boot Menu. The CNC will
boot-up automatically.
