2.Installation
2.1 Environmental conditions
I/O Link-AS-i converter has been designed on the assumption that they are housed in closed
cabinets. The environmental conditions when installing these cabinets shall conform to the
following.
(1) Surrounding temperature
During operation : 0 to 55ºC
During preservation and transportation : -20 to 60ºC
(2) Temperature changing rate : Max. 1.1ºC/min
(3) Humidity
Normal condition : 75% or less (no condensation)
Short period ( one month or shorter ) : Max.95% (no condensation)
(4) Vibration
During operation : 0.5G or less
Non operation : 1.0G or less
(5) Atmosphere
When the unit is used in areas with high density of dust, cutting fluid or
organic solvent, the user should consult FANUC.
