Notes concerning I/O format
Below are notes concerning l/O format.
@ Records can be either header records or data records.
@ Percent (?G) is used as the end-of-record marker.
@ Records begin with an identifier and end with an end-of-block marker.
@ Either IS0 or EIA is used as the code system.
@ The code system used during output is determined by setting IS0 (bit 1 of
parameter 0000). When IS0 codes are used, setting NCR (bit 3 of parameter
0100) is used to set the end-of-block marker to either < LF> or
<LF><CR> <CR>.
@ NFD, (bit 7 of parameter 01 o), (0 is the channel number) determines
whether feed is output immediately before and after data.
