7.10.2 Adjustment Method
Refer to 7.9 for the new type pressure control unit.
This section shows adjustment method for the old type.
7.10.2.1 Setting the gas supply pressure sensor
(1) Turn the CNC on. Never turn on the oscillator start signal (RUN)
at this stage.
CAUTION
Remove the key of the switch not never to turn on
the start signal (RUN).
(2) Set the secondary pressure of the regulator of the external laser
gas supply (gas cylinder, for example) to 0.05 MPa.
(3) With a precision Phillips screwdriver, turn the gas supply
adjustment trimmer until the red LED located beside the trimmer
goes on, then from that position, turn the trimmer
counterclockwise to a position at which the LED just goes off.
(4) To check the setting, reduce the secondary pressure of the
regulator on the laser gas supply unit (gas cylinder, for example)
to 0.05 MPa or less. The red LED of the gas supply pressure
sensor (PSW1) should go off.

7.10.2.2 Setting the atmospheric pressure sensor
(1) Turn off the power to the CNC, then turn off the main circuit
breaker and power supply for the laser oscillator.
(2) Remove the orange gas tube. This causes the atmospheric
pressure sensor to detect the atmospheric pressure.
(3) Close the main circuit breaker and turn on the power supply, then
turn on the CNC. A voltage of 24 V is supplied to the sensor.
Never turn on the oscillator start signal (RUN).
(4) The atmospheric pressure sensor is indicated as PSW2 on the
front of the pressure controller. Turn the adjustment trimmer with
a cross-headed precision screwdriver until the red LED next to
the trimmer just lights.
(5) Replace the gas tube and secure the nuts.
(6) Turn on the oscillator start signal (RUN). Check that the red LED
next to the sensor goes off after the exhaust pump starts.
