1.2.1.2 Setting data on the list screen
Tool life management data can be set in the reset state (when the OP signal is "0", and the
RST signal is "0"). By setting bit 1 (TCI) of parameter No. 6804 to 1, tool life
management data can be set during automatic operation (when the OP signal is "1").
NOTE
Setting for USING GROUP or NEXT GROUP
1) While automatic operation is in progress (when the OP signal is
"1", and bit 1 (TCI) of parameter No. 6804 is set to 1), only the tool
life counter value can be changed.
2) In the reset state (when the OP signal is "0", and the RST signal
is "0"), performing the following edit operation prevents continuous
life management, therefore canceling life management:
- Clearing execution data
- Setting a tool life counter value
A value is set in the tool life counter.
Procedure 1
(1) Move the cursor to the tool life counter of a desired tool group.
(2) Type a value.
(3) Press the [INPUT] soft key.
Procedure 2
(1) Move the cursor to the tool life counter of a desired tool group.
(2) Type a value.
(3) Press the INPUT key.
- Clearing execution data
Execution data, accumulated so far, of the tool group on which the cursor is placed is cleared
entirely.
(1) Move the cursor to the tool group of which execution data is to be cleared.
(2) Press the [CLEAR] soft key.
(3) Press the [EXEC] soft key.
NOTE
By setting bit 4 (GRS) of parameter No. 6800 to 1, execution data of
all registered tool groups can be cleared.
