When there is no tool registered in a tool group, the life count type, tool life value, and tool
life counter value cannot be set. First, add a tool number (T code).
NOTE
Editing for USING GROUP or NEXT GROUP
<1> While automatic operation is in progress (when the OP signal
is "1", and bit 1 (TCI) of parameter No. 6804 is set to 1), only the tool
life counter value can be changed.
<2> In the reset state (when the OP signal is "0", and the RST
signal is "0"), performing the following edit operations prevent
continuous life management, therefore canceling life management:
- Adding a tool number (T code)
- Deleting all tool group data at a time
- Deleting tool data (state, T code, H code, or D code)
NOTE
1 The tool change signal may be set to "1" when:
- The last tool is skipped.
- As a result of the deletion of a tool number, a tool group contains
only tools whose life has expired or skipped tools.
2 The tool change signal may be set to "0" when:
- As a result of the addition of a tool number, a tool whose life has
not expired is set in a tool group.
- The life count of a tool is cleared.
