e : Return amount (parameter No.5139)
Fig. 6.4.6 (b) Outer diameter/internal diameter drilling cycle
Explanation
- Operations
A cycle operation of cutting by ∆i and return by e is repeated.
When cutting reaches point B, the tool escapes by ∆d. Then, the tool
returns in rapid traverse, moves to the direction of point C by ∆k, and
performs cutting again.
Both G74 and G75 are used for grooving and drilling, and permit the
tool to relief automatically. Four symmetrical patterns are
considered, respectively.
- Return amount (e)
The escaping amount (e) is set in parameter No. 5133.
