[ALPHANUMERIC/KANA] soft key can select the half–size kana input
mode.
In half–size kana input mode, data entered using the MDI keys is
converted to kana characters according to the half–size kana–Roman
conversion table.
NOTE
1 The contents of the key–in buffer are cleared upon
switching between the half–size alphanumeric and kana
input modes.
2 When a screen other than the maintenance information edit
screen is displayed in half–size kana input mode, the
contents of the key–in buffer are restored to the status
existing before conversion. (When the edit screen is
displayed again, the screen is returned to half–size kana
input mode.)
