The displayed items are the same as for "Stylus Ball Center Offset
Measurement-A" of "CALIBRATION (PROBE Z-AXIS
DIRECTION)".
Measurement motion
Measurement motion is described below.
<1> The reference workpiece is placed on the table, then this
measurement cycle is executed.
<2> When this measurement cycle is executed, a rapid movement is
first made from the current position to the point specified by
("APROCH CENTER PT.Y" + ("BASE WORK RADIUS D"/2 -
α - stylus radius r)) in the Y-axis direction and by "APROCH
CENTER PT.Z" in the Z-axis direction.
<3> A rapid movement is made in the -X-axis direction to the point
("HEIGHT OF MEAS. PT." + "APROCH DISTANCE").
<4> A movement is made in the -X-axis direction to a point of
"HEIGHT OF MEAS. PT." at feedrate fb.
<5> After 0-degree spindle orientation is executed, a measurement is
made in the +Y-axis direction in the range (α + γ) at feedrate f.
(First measurement)
<6> Next, a rapid return movement is made by β, and a measurement
is made at the feedrate specified by "MOVING MEAS. SPEED"
in the range from that position to (β + γ). (Second measurement)
