CAUTION
- To display, read from, or write to a file on a memory
card, only the root directory can be used;
subdirectories cannot be used.
- The time required for reading or writing data varies
with the memory card types and use conditions.
- To write data to a flash card, the card must be of a
FANUC-recommended type. Data can be read from
a flash card of any type in FAT format, in the same
way as with an SRAM card. Note that once a flash
card is formatted, it has 128 KB less space than that
marked on its label. Individual files cannot be deleted
or moved from a flash memory card. All files must be
deleted from the card at the same time.
- A flash ATA card is formatted in quick format mode
(in which only the file allocation table and directory
information for the root directory are erased). An
unformatted flash ATA card must be formatted on a
personal computer before it can be used.
