If the screen hard copy function is executed after "HDCPY999.BMP"
has been output, the file name returns to "HDCPY00.BMP." If,
however, the name of the file output when the screen hard copy
function is executed is the same as that of a file on the memory card,
alarm SR0973 is issued. If the maximum allowable number of entries
in the root directory on the memory card is exceeded, alarm SR0965 is
issued. In either case, no screen data is output; either the file must be
deleted or the memory card must be replaced with a new one.
- Number of colors and size of screen data
The number of colors of the screen data in bitmap format created by
this function is 16. The size is 153,718 bytes.
Limitation
- Series 150i
Screen hard copy is impossible with the Series 150i (CNC with
personal computer functions). To perform screen hard copy, use the
capture function (
Print
Screen
key or equivalent) of the personal computer.
- Character display unit
Screen hard copy is unavailable when the character display unit
is in use.
- Screens for which hard copy is unavailable
Hard copy is unavailable for the BOOT screen, IPL screen, and
system alarm screen.
- Foreground input/output units
Screen data cannot be output during DNC operation, for
example, when a foreground input/output unit is operating.
- Tool path drawing
If hard copy is performed during tool path drawing, any tool path
for which screen data is being acquired is not drawn.
- Background graphics
If hard copy is performed while a tool path is being drawn using
the background graphics function, tool path drawing is
interrupted.
