The following messages are displayed at the start and the
completion of alteration process.
• Confirmation message before alteration
DO YOU ALTER ALL OLD ADDRESS IN GLOBAL?
DO YOU ALTER ALL OLD ADDRESS IN LOCAL?
• At the completion
n ADDRESS(ES) WERE ALTERED.
If the address in “NEW ADDRESS” is read-only, old
addresses, which is used as write coil or in output parameter of
functional instructions, cannot be altered. In this case, the
following confirmation is displayed to make sure the alteration
may be applied actually.
• In case of bit address
DO YOU ALTER ADDRESS EXCEPT WRITE COIL?
• In case of byte address
DO YOU ALTER PARAMETER EXCEPT OUTPUT?
3. [<=>] Switch the cursor position
Switches the cursor position between “OLD ADDRESS” and
“NEW ADDRESS” alternately.
4. [MV-SYM] Move symbol definition
Deletes the symbol of the address in “OLD ADDRESS” field
and redefines it with the address in “NEW ADDRESS” field.
The following messages are displayed at the start and end of
alteration.
• Confirmation message before moving symbol
DO YOU WANT TO MOVE THE SYMBOL?
• At the completion
THE SYMBOL WAS MOVED.
5. [PREV] Search the old address backward
Searches for the address in “OLD ADDRESS” field through
the ladder diagram in backward direction, upward in screen.
6. [NEXT] Search the old address forward
Searches for the address in “OLD ADDRESS” field through
the ladder diagram in forward direction, downward in screen.
7. [GLOBAL]/[LOCAL] Choose the area to search and alter
Used to choose the whole program (GLOBAL) or the
subprogram (LOCAL) as the area to perform search and
alteration in the ladder diagram. Current effective area is
displayed at right of the information bar near top of the screen.
This soft key is displayed only when a subprogram is selected
for this editor screen.
8. [PICKUP] Pick up an address under the cursor
Used to pick up and set the address under the cursor in the
ladder diagram into “OLD ADDRESS” or “NEW ADDRESS”
field.
9. [USECHK] Check the usage of the new address
Checks to see if the address in “NEW ADDRESS” field is in
use by searching for the address through the ladder diagram.
